Credit where it's due
Momentus Technologies (formerly Ungerboeck) is a long-established, full-featured platform with a large install base across convention centers, arenas, and stadiums worldwide. For many large, complex venues it's a capable system with deep domain features built over decades. Velsa isn't here to argue otherwise.
We're a newer, more focused product with a different philosophy about how venue software should be licensed, priced, and built. If that philosophy fits how you want to work, Velsa is worth a look.

When Velsa is a good fit
Velsa tends to fit venues that want published pricing and a fast evaluation, value an open-source core they can run, audit, or extend, need real fund accounting and an audit trail (common for government and non-profit venues), or simply prefer a modern, focused system over a broad legacy suite. The best way to judge fit is to use it.
